Refunds & withdrawal

Your statutory 14 days, the digital-content exception, and how we handle it in practice.

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.

To exercise it, inform us (or Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record) by a clear statement of your decision to withdraw. An email to info@powerstate-game.com is enough. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. Sending notice before the period expires is sufficient to meet the deadline.

Effects of withdrawal

We will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event within fourteen days of being informed. Reimbursement uses the same means of payment as the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise; you will not be charged any fee for it.

When the right expires early

A digital purchase can end this right before the fourteen days do. For content not supplied on a physical medium, the right of withdrawal lapses under §356 Abs. 5 BGB once we have begun performance, provided that you expressly consented to performance beginning before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledged that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal.

Checkout asks for exactly that consent, separately and unticked. If you give it and the licence key is then issued to you, the statutory right is gone. If you would rather keep it, decline, and delivery waits until the fourteen days have run.

Our policy beyond the statutory minimum

The free browser version exists so that nobody has to buy blind: it is the same engine, the same physics and a complete run. Play it first.

That said, if the supporter unlock does not work on your machine, or is not what you expected, write to info@powerstate-game.com within thirty days of purchase and you will be refunded. No form, no interrogation. This is a voluntary promise in addition to your statutory rights, not a replacement for them.
